Follett Employees Make Generous Back-to-School Donation to Children in Community

Mon. August 22, 2022

McHenry-based Follett School Solutions surpassed its goal of $2,000 by donating nearly $2,350 in backpacks and school supplies to students in need. Donated in time for the start of the 2022-23 school year, Follett’s employees—as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee & Culture Committee—have made the recent donation to Communities That Care (CTC).

Communities That Care is a Lake Zurich-based non-profit organization committed to providing for underserved children in the local Chicago-land communities through caring outreach and dedicated service. It is the sixth year Follett has been partnering with CTC, both as part of its back-to-school and holiday campaigns.

According to CTC’s Diane Larrabee, the back-to-school campaign is ongoing. Residents interested in donating should visit the organization’s website — www.ctc4kids.org.

“We appreciate our employees again rising to the occasion with their generous donations to CTC,” said Britten Follett, CEO, Content, Follett School Solutions. “It shows the students that their community is supporting them to not only succeed in school but to help pave the way for a bright future.”
